This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by leading and managing the engineering and maintenance departments across multiple manufacturing locations, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all engineering and maintenance functions.
Provide hands-on expertise in drives and controls systems to include, design, programming, installation, troubleshooting, and optimization for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Plan, review and oversee the design and development of new methods, processes, and procedures.
Including equipment, tools, and material purchases.
Identify and evaluate emerging engineering and maintenance trends, tools, and techniques, and make recommendations for their adoption to stay ahead of industry advancements.
Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in engineering and maintenance activities, including drives and controls systems, to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, research and development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering and maintenance activities with overall business objectives.
Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining cost effectiveness.
Mentor and develop engineering and maintenance staff, providing guidance, feedback, and training to foster their professional growth and enhance their technical capabilities in both engineering and maintenance domains.
Implement and maintain engineering and maintenance standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Drive the implementation of advanced engineering and maintenance technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and equipment reliability.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the engineering and maintenance departments' strategic initiatives, goals, and objectives.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering and maintenance teams, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring effective communication and coordination across teams and locations.
Implement effective engineering methods and provide technical guidance.
Expert resource for engineering issuesPerforms complex tasks.
Work to solve engineering issues derived from other projects.
Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports on the progress of any project and department metrics.
All other duties as needed.
#URGENT Qualifications, Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.

years of experience in a field, with managerial & leadership successExperience in web handling a plusStrong technical background and expertise in engineering disciplines, including drives and controls systems, as well as maintenance principles and practices.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in automation design, development and troubleshooting.
Ability to create qualifications and technical materials as needed.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing engineering and maintenance team.
Solid working knowledge of engineering processes manufacturing practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
